The titanium finds its application in industrial and medical purpose since 1950. The titanium is one of the most abundant materials found on the earth, and its weight to strength ratio makes it one of the most preferred metals in the aerospace industry.

The piping system of titanium alloys can withstand a large amount of temperature which makes it highly suited for tubing in heat exchangers and boilers. It makes titanium the widely preferred material in chemical industry. The titanium aluminum alloy finds its application improved further as it eliminated some negatives of titanium metal. The heat endurance capacity of the titanium (previously it was 500degree C) improved when aluminum mixed with it and makes it a widely preferred material in the gas and oil industry.
